mad.house goes Gaga for William Morris Endeavor & Polaroid Grey Label

When William Morris Endeavor wanted to herald the arrival of the new Polaroid GL 10 portable bluetooth photo printer, they turned to Polaroid’s creative director Lady Gaga for a campaign and mad.house, mad.scientist Greg Deocampo for some cool interactive design.

Occupying over 80 feet of window display in Bloomingdale’s flagship Lexington Ave store, is the “Haus of Gaga”  interactive Polaroid display.
In addition to the edgy Gaga inspired design, the display invites passers-by to have a photo taken by a Gaga-like mannequin and have it displayed in a classic Polaroid instant photo aesthetic, via a mock oversized printer and a large LCD monitor located in the store’s window.

From developing camera code to boots on ground installation in conjunction with the fine folks at Bloomingdales, WME and Polaroid, we created a display which is cool, interactive fun and certainly an eye catching homage to Polaroid’s instant photo heritage…with a modern twist!
